Our teams’ expertise is supported with the best in lifting and launching equipment. Whatever cleaning or maintenance tasks you need to undertake, Premier is ready to help with a package to suit your needs.
Extras, such as towing can easily be added to your booking. Engine and mast lifting services are also available, please arrange any rigging removal or engine disconnection services separately.
Lift, high pressure wash and relaunch
A simple lift, wash and immediate relaunch is ideal to remove any build-up of slime or weed on the boat, improving performance as well as saving fuel. It’s also a chance to check the condition of anodes, keels and rudders. Most yards will offer a hold over lunch to allow more time or a hold over night if a slightly longer period is required.
Lift, high pressure wash and block off
This service is ideal when the boat needs to be stored ashore whilst work or antifouling takes place. We will always lift with slings on either a crane or travel lift and block the boat off on keel blocks or in a cradle, depending on the type of boat. Most boats under 12 metres will be moved using a boat mover. For short stays, it’s worth looking at our Pit Stop packages.
Booking and the lifting process
It’s easy to get a quote and book online, by phone or in person. The boatyard team will call to discuss your booking and confirm details and extras you might need. A confirmation email will outline the preparation details for your lift or launch - you’ll usually need to remove sails, for example. An email with images and berthing or storage details will be sent upon completion.
